Controlstar Systems Ltd offers a complete remote control system and remote level monitoring package, which provides telemetry facilities, as well as automatic and remote control system, even for locations without power.  A complete Telemetry system for £2,500 Exc VATThis is for a pre-configured SCADA master station one solar or battery powered Micro Controlstar remote level monitor, and a GE Druck high quality level sensor with a 15m cable. The Master station is an IBM Lenovo PC with a 17”TFT display. The system is expandable on a unit-by-unit basis with each additional complete level monitor that is composed of Micro Controlstar, sensor, radio modem, and software costing £1,140.00 Exc VAT The Micro Controlstar is a rugged cast aluminium IP67 rated enclosure capable of external bulkhead mounting, it is also vented, which removes the need for a separate vent box, and this reduces equipment and installation costs. The unit provides configurable logging, events, alarms and live access, together with SMS alarms to user configurable mobiles. Integrated mobile data terminals are provided at the PC and the Micro Controlstar for GSM or GPRS connection. Supplied with either a field replaceable battery capable of operating a unit for up to 3+ years, or a small solar panel (only 14x16.5 cm) which includes a charger and battery to carry through the worst of winter periods. The Telemetry master station is a PC running the Controlstar Systems master station software under a Linux operating system; it will handle up to 20 units. This number of units can easily be extended to operate more stations or a mixture of Micro Controlstars and the more powerful Controlstar®. The Controlstar® is capable of controlling the largest of pumping stations. Note: -The installation and commissioning costs are not included in the costs above, which are dependent on the location and must be undertaken by our specialist engineers. Also the SIM and the rental costs are the client’s responsibility; but we can offer advice on this. Alternatively a line powered Ultrasonic level transmitter can replace the pressure sensor. The Micro Controlstar can also be powered from a standard 24V DC source (this is a factory fitted option). The Micro Controlstar is equipped with a two input, high accuracy 20 bit ADC; it also has 6 digital inputs, which can be configured as counters for monitoring flows (a maximum frequency of 1kHz per channel). The Control version is programmable and can for example control Penstocks, and small installations such as a one-pump station.
