Partial Stroke Valve System Condition Monitoring

Controlstar Systems Ltd have provided a remote condition monitor system for Rotorks EH Actuator range. The project was undertaken to provide BP with performance information for eleven ESD actuators on their North Sea Unity Platform. The system uses Partial stroke testing with the Controlstar® providing data acquisition. The detailed condition monitoring information covers the operation of the whole ESD system, reducing down time and costs, while improving confidence in the integrity of the equipment.
The Controlstar® supports for WITS, AGA8, AGA3, Gas Chromatograph connectivity, and erosion prediction.
